Who we are
This website is operated by Dirty South Power Wash Ltd ("we", "us"). We provide exterior cleaning services across Surrey, Sussex and Kent. You can contact us at dirtysouthpowerwash@gmail.com or on 07504685871.
What we collect
When you contact us or request a quote, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, any photos you upload and the details of your enquiry. We do not ask for payment details through this website.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, to carry out and manage the work.
Where we store it
When you send the quote form, your enquiry is saved as a record in this website's database (a Cloudflare D1 database called dirty-south-leads) before we email it to ourselves. We do that so a failed email cannot lose your enquiry. The record holds your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you asked about, the details you typed and the page you sent them from, along with the date and time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information to anyone. We do share it with the suppliers who run this website and our email for us, and they act on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, runs the quote form and stores the enquiry record described above.
- Resend, which delivers the quote email to us.
- The provider of our email account, which holds that email in our inbox.
- Verithora, the agency that builds and maintains this website, which can reach the website systems in order to support them and receives an alert when the call or WhatsApp buttons are used.
We may also share your information where the law requires it, for example with a regulator.
Where your information is processed
Some of these suppliers are based in, or process information in, the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on the UK rules for international transfers: a UK adequacy decision, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where one covers that supplier, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum where it does not. If you would like to know which applies to a particular supplier, contact us at dirtysouthpowerwash@gmail.com and we will tell you.
Legal basis
We process your information on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer information only for as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted. This includes the enquiry record described above, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us at dirtysouthpowerwash@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function. If we add any non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It does not follow you across other websites. It records aggregate information such as which pages are viewed and how quickly they load. The rules that apply here (regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003) turn on whether a tool stores information on, or reads information from, your device, not on whether that information identifies you. We are reviewing what this tool does on your device and how we should ask you about it, and we will update this page once that is settled. In the meantime you can object to it by contacting us at dirtysouthpowerwash@gmail.com.
We also count, anonymously, when the call, WhatsApp or quote buttons are used and which page they were used on, so we know which pages are working. This records only the button type, the page and the time. It uses no cookies and stores nothing that can identify you.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page.
